David Gillespie created a thoughtful slideshow on where we are right now in the 40 year old history of the internet. Takes about 15 minutes to go through the 250 odd slides. Liked the bit he said about the internet inherently being social so this “social media” thing we’re now talking about is something the internet brought with it a long time ago.
